Welcome to the live blog for Gavin, Mina and their Dad's July 2012 road trip adventure blog where we'll document our trip south into Oregon, looking for things that have no center, donut holes and mountains missing their tops. All three of us will be contributing photos and stories. Of course, we'll also be be tweeting meaningless and witty comments as the trip progresses.

It's 6:38am and we're all in Tacoma. G and M are asleep. The car isn't packed. Dad already needs more sleep. Plan is to leave around 10:30 and head south to Olympia to meet Deborah for lunch, then more south to Portland. Stay tuned and welcome aboard.
